Public bug reported:
I've downloaded and installed karmic alpha 4, wich my soudn card works
perfectly. After various updates, my sound card is not recognized, it's
not listed in hardware list in sound options. In alsamixer it's
detected, all channels are unmuted, but no sound from speakers and
headphone. No apparent crash in my systems
