Howdy Martin. Minor clarification on option #1: I was suggesting that when duplicates are discovered, the private ones are left private and are marked as duplicates of the public bugs. There would be no exposure to sensitive information and QA people could do their job! I'll leave it up to you to re-open this if that makes my suggestion clearer. Otherwise, no response is necessary - I know you're busy and appreciate all the hard work on Ubuntu!
