Hi Pedro, Thanks for responding. I will test this out when I download Karmic. In the meantime, I can report that the problem doesn't occur in Jaunty, so I presume it will be ok in Karmic too. (I was able to get Intrepid to work by forcing it to keep nm 0.6 .)
