Public bug reported:
When trying to read a Word document (probably Word 2000; is there a way
to determine the version?) Writer eats 100% CPU and is unresponsive
(window turning gray).
Curiously this also seems to affect other programs: a running firefox or
terminal window get unresponsive, too. (???)
The Word document can be read by Abiword (no correct layout), antiword,
catdoc, and wvWare.
I can't submit the .doc because of confidential content, but I'd be
happy to provide more input.
