If you only experience this bug when using the NVIDIA non-free drivers,
this might be a duplicate of bug #269904. 1. Do you still experience the
bug? 2. If so, is the bug fixed when you enable "Force Synchronization
Between X and GLX" in CompizConfig Settings Manager -> Utility ->
