Tested with Karmic Alpha 5, same problem. The connection is working, I have network connectivity. The plasma applet in the tray shows it as "Auto eth0 - Active", driver "forcedeth".
But if I right-click on the same icon in the tray, and choose "Manage Connections..." I get nothing. The wired connection does not appears listed anywhere. So, I can't change it's IP (which is wrong). Check please the attached snapshot to see what I'm getting. ** Attachment added: "Snapshot" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/31369317/snapshot2.png -- Kubuntu 9.04 Network Settings does not see any wired connection https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/388648 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to plasma-widget-network-manager in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
