The applet needs to be updated to use the new way netbook-launcher
handles favorites.
Instead of creating a desktop file and setting it to
'Category=Favorites', it should just pass the URI of the resource
(http://, file:// etc) to netbook-launcher, which will deal with the
rest of the work. The applet can do this via the:
$ netbook-launcher -a URI
command.
