Yes, still not able to get the printer to work properly. I was all over the internet trying to find a Linux driver for that particular printer, only to run into problems downloading it. Although Mint recognizes the printer, there apparently is a communication problem.
This is on my mom's desktop computer. My own laptop has no problem printing from my own printer (a different make/model), even though I have the same version of Mint. So my mom has to email me what she needs printed, I print it up, then take it to her.
