I should add to #26 that swfdec is not installed. The problem doesn't exist on: firefox 3.5.4~hg20090907r26344+nobinonly-0ubuntu1~umd1 or firefox 3.7~a1~hg20090907r32284+nobinonly-0ubuntu1~umd1
