I have a similar problem. Enter VPN configuration in network manager Add VPN pptp connection. Able to enter details Return to EDIT connection in VPN tab of Network Manager Result: pptp VPN Connection tab no longer exists. Only Ipv4 setting show. (see attachment) Result: unable to use VPN using GNOME network manager.
