Jonathan, I took the time today to install MountManager and try it. This product has some serious problems.
1) Wouldn't let me key in a new mount point. I had to manually create a /drive_c directory, then select that directory as a mount point. 2) Somehow it changed the settings on /drive_d to not automatically mount. I now have to manually click on it and provide the root password. 3) It left the /dos directory sitting out there and useless. 4) drive_d can only be accessed once now. A second, or additional invocation of Dolphin shows an empty screen. 5) trying to fix the problem with /drive_d created /media/DRIVE_D as well, both pointing to the same place. I'm completely petrified to nuke the /dos directory because I cannot be certain that still isn't the real mount point. -- [Karmic] Cannot change drive mount points https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/409039 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
