** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: evolution

  Ubuntu 9.04/Evolution 2.26.1

Evolution DUPLICATE Gmail IMAP Send messages.

Evolution Preferences > Default > Send and Draft Messages:
  Drafts Folder: username/[Gmail]/Drafts
  Send Messages Folder: username/[Gmail]/Send Mail

Every sent messages are duplicated in the Gmail send folder (2 copies of
the same message in the folder) - WTF

Evolution Preferences > Default > Send and Draft Messages:
  Drafts Folder: Drafts (default setting)
Send Messages Folder: Send (default setting)

Every sent messages are duplicated, one copy in the LOCAL send folder
and one copy in the GMAIL IMAP Sent folder

I am fairly new to Evolution, I use it since I have moved to Linux under
Ubuntu a few weeks ago. I used Thunderbird with Gmail IMAP accounts
before. Nevertheless, if there is a setting "Send and Draft Message" and
if I can select Gmail folders for sent and draft messages (proper
setting) There should be NO duplicate in these folders.

Even more, I don't want to have duplicated sent messages in the Local
Evolution folder. It defeat the purpose of the IMAP protocol and waste
  disk space.
+
+ EDIT: Drafts correctly redirect save draft messages in the Gmail IMAP
+ folder WITHOUT duplicate?!? I am getting lost here. Why doesn't it work
+ with the Send messages too???
