Kernel (update) 2.6.31-10-generic, i386 - same using amd64.
By using an encrypted home directory (ecryptfs-utils), the users
pictures ('~/.face' respectively '/usr/share/pixmaps/faces/**') are not
shown at login-screen, as it is default without encryption.
This seems to be a general bug of 'ecryptfs-utils'.
