Test environment:
- Karmic alpha5 Desktop CD (31bit)
- Asus A8N-SLI MB (BIOS 1006)
- AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3200+
- NVidia GForce 6800
Testcase: To install multiple releases in parallel I created a setup
which has 14 partitions on a 500G hard drive. The layout is:
/dev/sda1 Master grub
/dev/sda2 swap
/dev/sda3 recovery system
/dev/sda4 linux extended
/dev/sda5 start of test systems
...
/dev/sda14 end of test systems
Using the "Install Ubuntu" (not boting into the live system) proceeds
normally until the partitioner displays the available partitions (see
screenshot). From that moment on, the right hand side of the dialog is
somewhere "offscreen", making it impossible to click on the buttons. The
keyboard commands (ALT-f / ALT-b) still work, though.
