Thank you for the bug report, however I think we are going to need a
little more information than this to continue this report, can I ask
what you were doing when this crash occurred? Can you reproduce it
reliably? Any other information at all?
(I would say to attach the crash file, however at the moment there isn't
a debugging package for Thunderbird, but we are working on one for the
next version of Ubuntu :))
