Can you explain why?  I don't need to for "qemu -m 256 -cdrom
ubuntu-9.04-desktop-i386.iso" -- that works just fine without it.  Note
the different ISO image.  Also, qemu(1) says of -cdrom "you cannot use
-hdc and -cdrom at the same time" inferring -cdrom maps the ISO to drive
C and it also says of -boot that it defaults to drive C.

I'm puzzled why it's OK for other ISOs but not intrepid-desktop-i386.iso
Alpha 4.
