This is normal behaviour from what I've seen. You IP remains floating around on on trackers and DHT nodes for a long time, and that's just the way torrent networks behave.
First, try disabling DHT. If that's not enough, I think the only thing that you can do is to avoid swarms with large numbers of peers. If you see several torrents that offer the same content, stick with the one that has the lowest tolerable amount of peers.
