Private bug reported:

Probably a duplicate of Bug #421367. Marking as such.

Apport's info (generated with my system's particular
architecture/driver/hardware, which mildly differs from that listed in
Bug #421367) is attached below, just in case additional background data
is needed. And/or if it is later determined that this bug unique; not
actually a dupe, etc.

Brief description: Apport's orange "crash" icon appeared in the
notification area shortly after a regular (cold) boot. System reports a
"hibernation/resume failure," even though the system was booted
regularly...ie, the notebook was *not* placed in a hibernate or suspend
mode, successfully booted from the ground up (with no other obvious
errors to report), etc. Upon login, Apport still reported this
"failure" -- seems like the system is confused (booting regularly but
thinks it was booting from a hibernated image, maybe?) or perhaps Apport
is repeatedly "detecting" this failure from a previous session...?

Again, marking this as a dupe of Bug #421367; that bug seems very
similar -- Dell hardware, similar drivers/modules in use, etc.
