Same as above, did apt-get upgrade this morning and no mouse, no keyboard. I also tried to check my backup drive and I see in dmesg that it mounted to /dev/sdc but there is no sdc in my dev directory . Maybe a udev problem. Also the X error log claims not to find the synaptics track pad, so again maybe a udev issue.
