** Description changed: Binary package hint: pidgin-festival Bug occurs when using pidgin-festival plugin to read messages. Automated crash report came from festival, however. Festival appears to operate correctly when used from the command line. This crash is quite repeatable. Steps to reproduce: Packages: pidgin-festival 2.2-1, pidgin 1:2.2.2-1ubuntu1 1. Install Pidgin and pidgin-festival (including any dependencies) 2. Enable festival plugin in gaim (er, pidgin) 3. Have someone send you an IM. 4. IM is visible in chat window, but after a moderate period of time, perhaps a minute (haven't timed it), the crash report utility comes up and reports festival has crashed.
