** Description changed: Binary package hint: emacs-snapshot The Hardy version of emacs-snapshot has a segmentation fault when org- mode is used with (set-default-font "Monospace-8"), linum-mode, and certain org-mode files. I have attached the file which causes the crash. I would have liked to have used a less personal file (it is my computer- related todos), but it there does not seem to be much of a pattern to what causes a crash. The version of linum.el which I am using can be found here: http://stud4.tuwien.ac.at/~e0225855/linum/linum.el Steps to reproduce: 1. Open emacs. 2. Set the font to "Monospace-8" 3. Open the org-mode file and collapse it so just the heading is showing (using tab). 4. Load linum and run M-x linum-mode 5. Try to expand the heading with tab. What happens: Emacs terminates with a segmentation fault, ever time. What should happen: The heading should expand to show the contents, or at the very least, emacs should die a bit more gracefully.
