At the moment I'm not willing to re-install it. The problems that the first install brought to my laptop traumatized me and the fear of risking a re-install or having to spend another 2-3 days to put things back together just pulls me away from it.
About gtk2-engines-gtk-qt, was it responsible to launch xfce? One of the problems that the install brought to my sistem was that it was impossible to even boot from the login menu. I mean, the screen resolution popped a bit back and forth and no dice. Is that package responsible for that problem? Previously I thought it had something to do with a conflict between kdm and gdm. -- Installing over fresh kubuntu install breaks everything https://launchpad.net/bugs/50277 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
