I had a similar problem with a Lenovo Ideapad Y530 but executed at each startup: # Establih HIBERNATE to disk ============================ echo shutdown > /sys/power/disk # ==================== No problems with hibernate since BUT suspend never fully worked, s2 both partly works but I have to power off, thus executing only hibernate.
Using Ubu-9.04 and 9.10 on Lenovo Note, no problems with Thinkpad T42.and Ubu-9.04 -- Hibernate will not poweroff laptop at very "last" step https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/73805 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
