Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xsane

I never had troubles with my HP Photosmart C5180 All-in-one
printer/scanner/copier before on Linux. Both scanning and printer worked
fine after system-config-printer detected my printer. I've just
installed Karmic, and adding a printer still works great. However when
trying to use xsane, it says no devices are found. This worked fine in
Hardy, Intrepid, Jaunty, ...

Anything I can do to clear up this regression?

** Affects: xsane (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
