This exit status 3 noted here seems to indicate this is likely a
duplicate of bug 269539 . However, we'd need to look at your logs to
confirm. Care to take a look at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingUpdateManage and attach the 3 files
noted there (main.log, apt.log, term.log). Thanks.
