I noticed that it is only host0 that is fixed on max_performance. I also have host1 to 5 that are fine (configurable). I'm not sure on which host my sata disc is connected. The fan on my brand new ultra energy efficient laptop keeps spinning all the time which should not be the case I guess. Powertop keeps telling me I should look into this issue with /sys/class/scsi_host/host0/link_power_management_policy
