Unfortunately I'm unable to view your VarLogDistupgrade200909051916.gz
file attached to this bug. However just bsed on the exist status 3, it
seems this is like a duplicate of bug 269539 -

a look at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingUpdateManager and attach the
3 debug files mentioned there. Thanks.
