** Description changed:

not sure on what the cause is or which package to report against.

Basically my laptop works fine under normal usage but when playing
opengl games it reboots, on intensive games its like 30 seconds on less
intensive i may get a couple of minutes.

I have tried different kernel versions and nvidia drivers 170 185 and
190 but still have the same result with a reboot, also tried disabling
acpi on boot but that did not help either.

I can use some 3d compiz for example seems to work fine, but the 3d
  screensavers did cause a reboot.

Also i have ruled out hardware problem, i have two identical machine
here happens on both, and they work fine in windows xp.

I also tried using cpuburn to stress out the cpu but that does not cause
  reboots

if you need some log files let me know which ones, but some info below.
