Basket is one of flagship KDE apps (see
http://wiki.ubuntu.com/KubuntuApps) which we track very closely in
Kubuntu. This was the reason we requested sync of rc2 version before
UVF.
1.0 release is primarily bug-fix release of 0.6.0 we have in the archives.
I would like MOTU-UVF team to grant exception for this and all other sync's
required until 1.0 final (we anticipate only one more).
