Public bug reported:
In the 2.17.x series Orca upstream introduced an optional main window of
questionable usefulness. It's on by default, but can easily be switched
off with the '--disable=main-window' argument.
The less cluttered single preferences window would suit Ubuntu better.
We also launch Orca in a different way than stock gnome does in that we
have an option to start with the settings window from access-prefs, so
there is really no need for the extra window. The launch command from
the start button should be:
orca --disable=main-window
and from the settings button it should be:
orca --setup-gui --disable=main-window
** Affects: control-center (Ubuntu)
Importance: Low
Status: Confirmed

Please launch Orca with --disable=main-window
