I thought maybe I just downloaded/burned the Alpha 6 64-bit CD incorrectly, but I'm experiencing the same issue as hajtipajti reported - it gets to the ubuntu logo with the bouncy/moving white line, plays the startup sound, the screen blacks out, and repeats the process to infinity. This happened both with the live cd and after the install. FYI, i'm testing this on a Dell Studio 1537 and fairly similar hardware to hajtipajti as well: (2 cores) 2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 GB RAM, ATI Radeon HD 34xx series 256 MB.
