Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: adept-updater
On two machines, one 32bit duo and a amd64, the notifier reports that
an update to the kernel is available. The update completes without
error but the notifier doesn't go away, uname still reports 2.6.17-10
as the kernel. A reboot did not help.
