Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: pulseaudio
After dozens of crashes and freezes with pulseaudio I try to look at
system logs and I found few as a most common log messages:
Sep 20 19:46:41 desktop pulseaudio[2653]: alsa-sink.c: ALSA woke us up
to write new data to the device, but there was actually nothing to
write!
Sep 20 19:46:41 desktop pulseaudio[2653]: alsa-sink.c: Most likely this is a
bug in the ALSA driver 'snd_via82xx'. Please report this issue to the ALSA
developers.
Sep 20 19:46:41 desktop pulseaudio[2653]: alsa-sink.c: We were woken up with
POLLOUT set -- however a subsequent snd_pcm_avail() returned 0 or another value
< min_avail.
Sep 21 09:57:43 desktop pulseaudio[2649]: protocol-native.c: Failed to
push data into queue
