I downloaded the latest stable version of compat wireless and it's working fine.

Also the connection seems to be more responsive, and the signal strength
is way higher than before.

I installed those drivers a few minutes ago and the noise floor calibration 
message disappeared. I just got one message:
ath5k phy0: unsupported jumbo

I don't know what it means, but it's not filling my logs. It appeared
just once and the connection didn't have issues at all.
