I using Ubuntu Jaunty on Toshiba nb205 (which have the same sound bug). Using the kernel from post #117 fixes the sound problem for me (from speakers and headphones), but i didnt test (yet) the microphone (since i dont use it). In my /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf, everything is in default (there's no "model=" or something).
I just think that the sound is low (actually, is more like "ambient sound" in the highest volume), but i cant say it's a patch problem because i didnt test the sound in other systems (Ubuntu is my number one) =) This patch should be made upstream for Karmic. Thanks for the fix! -- Realtek ALC272 not working in 9.04 but its working under 8.10 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/389040 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
