I see the importance is Low for this bug, but people using a lot of
konsole sessions all day for their work is heavily affected.

I'd also like to note that many projects out there have coding standards of 80 
columns, thus quite a lot of people is using 80 columns terminals when 
scripting or coding.
On the other hand, very few logs or debug outputs are shorter than 80 columns. 
IMHO, the ability to adapt to any situation preserving a well known user 
defined default is a very useful and important feature (as was the case for KDE 
3.5 btw).

Besides the fact that Advanced Windows Settings is supposed to work,
having to resize (or to check for size) at every new konsole launch is a
real PITA.
