Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: mozilla-acroread

1. Install mozilla-acroread
2. Click a pdf link in Firefox
3. Click Save a Copy
4. Specify a location outside your home folder that you have permission to
write to
5. You will receive the error "You are not superuser."

This shouldn't happen. I'm guessing that the Adobe programmers are
stupid and are trying to do permissions checking themselves rather than
relying on the OS. I know it's closed source but I'm reporting it just
in case it's a packaging issue somehow, or if there's a newer version
for Edgy that doesn't exhibit the bug.

** Affects: acroread (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Untriaged
         Status: Unconfirmed
