Description: Ubuntu karmic (development branch)
Release: 9.10
Problem:
On a Karmic server edition a samba server cuts any connection if the dhcp
client renews its IP. The shell says in that moment:
Reloading /etc/samba/smb.conf smbd only
a) sambd shout keep connections as long as the server does not receive a
different IP
b) the string "Reloading /etc/samba/smb.conf smbd only" should be written to a
log and not direct into the shell
Work around: kill dhcp client or extend lease time on DHCP server.
