You seem to assume that we can just wave a magic wand and the tool will be magically fixed with no effort. If that was possible then we would do that, but the reality is that fixing it requires a finite amount of effort, and there just isn't anybody available right now who has time (or is interested enough) to actually do the work. There are currently more important issues for us to work on at the moment rather than spending time fixing a tool which isn't all that useful anyway.
