Public bug reported:
The default GDM theme should match the default xsplash theme. There is
currently no similar theme for xsplash and GDM. This would really make
the startup process (xsplash -> GDM -> xsplash -> desktop) nicer as it
would "smoothen" the xsplash - GDM - xsplash transitions.
