I have run the Network Manager from both Gnome and Xfce. This system is dual-boot between Ubuntu and Debian Lenny. The wireless cardbus cards work well from Debian (the Hawking USB adapter is not yet supported under Lenny).
Also, I have tried a NetBSD-live-2007 live cd, and wifi works fine from that OS (I didn't try the USB adapter from NetBSD). -- wifi does not work on Averatec 3280 in Karmic https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/435441 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
