my hardware:
3 harddisks: A, B and C
ext4 on all 3
B & C is set-up as a RAID (for the data & backup)
When dmraid is activated and RAID is recognised
- GRUB fails to install
- while LILO installs
When dmraid not activated and hdd's B and C are shown as separate drives
- GRUB successfully installs
That behavior is recognised on a karmic alpha 6 while attempting to
perform a fresh installation
