Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: network-manager
nm-applet appears to be built against libnm-glib-vpn.so.0, but the
corresponding libnm-glib2 package contains libnm-glib-vpn.so.1:
j...@fehung:~$ ldd /usr/bin/nm-applet | grep vpn
libnm-glib-vpn.so.0 => not found
j...@fehung:~$ dpkg -L libnm-glib2 | grep vpn
/usr/lib/libnm-glib-vpn.so.1.0.0
/usr/lib/libnm-glib-vpn.so.1
This causes nm-applet to fail, which may be alarming and/or inconvenient
for karmic testers (and is obviously pretty critical for release as
well, not that I expect this situation to remain for that long).
Versions:
network-manager 0.8~a~git.20090923t064445.b20cef2-0ubuntu1
libnm-glib2 0.8~a~git.20090923t064445.b20cef2-0ubuntu1
network-manager-gnome 0.8~a~git.20090913t161448.cc2f6be-0ubuntu1
Thanks!
