Public bug reported:
I recently updated ~500 packages in karmic (I hadn't updated in about a
week or so). Something in this update has messed with networking.
network-manager reports that it is running.
ifconfig shows my devices are up, but they are not configured.
I can do 'sudo dhclient eth0' to get network access upon boot, but this
is obviously not ideal for shipping to customers.
PowerBook G4. The changes causing this entered Karmic sometime between
9/14 and 9/24.
