I'm not convinced this is a bug. I hit "hibernate" by accident, then
interrupted whatever process it was trying to go through by hitting
CTRL+ALT+DEL, or maybe even hitting the reset button on the tower... I
don't remember now. I don't even know what "hibernate" is, I just know I
wanted "Log Out" instead.

What is the appropriate way to awaken a hibernating computer? Thanks.

resuming properly.  The resume processing hung very near the end and will have 
appeared to have completed normally.
