Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.20-2-generic

In feisty, cpufreq actions now affects both CPU cores of my Core 2 Duo.
I can no longer specify a governor (or frequency) for one core, and a
different one for the other. In edgy, I can select governor/frequency
for each CPU core.

In edgy, kernel 2.6.17-11-generic:

$ cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/affected_cpus
0
$ cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu1/cpufreq/affected_cpus
1

In feisty, kernel 2.6.20-6-generic:

$ cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/affected_cpus
0 1
$ cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu1/cpufreq/affected_cpus
0 1

** Affects: linux-source-2.6.20 (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
