Public bug reported:
There have been similar bugs in older versions but this one occured on
my machine in the karmic cycle so i report it again:
I have a Dell XPS M1330 with the following wireless module:
0c:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 4965 AG or
AGN [Kedron] Network Connection (rev 61)
When I boot my notebook with the wireless switch turned to off, I cannot
enable wireless later without rebooting.
No Networks are shown and righ-clicking on the nm-applet shows the
"Enable Wireless" option greyed out.
The wireless switch also controls the bluetooth module, which works as
it should.
** Affects: ubuntu
Importance: Undecided
