There was a good discussion about this in Debian: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=507248
They solved it by shipping a piece of configuration for the /etc/security/limits.d/ directory with jackd. This seems like a reasonable route to go, as most users who care about realtime audio will have jackd installed. Should we reassign this issue to jack-audio-connection-kit? ** Bug watch added: Debian Bug tracker #507248 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=507248 -- default limits.conf settings for audio work https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/381937 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
