Public bug reported:
Using the 9 Feb daily built live CD:
Boot options: language and keyboard: French.
Under Gnome: the LANG env variable is set ([EMAIL PROTECTED]).
But the LANGUAGE variable is not defined.
Some applications could check LANGUAGE instead of LANG and fail.
