Binary package hint: synaptic
I open Synaptic and I reload the changes on the repositories. Later I
modify manually /etc/apt/sources.list, commenting one line, the first
repository for example. I save the changes in the file and I return to
reload the changes on the repositories. Then Synaptic closes.
